Late on this thread here but im wondering if any you guys ever tried 'Dynapack' batteries.
Coconut Battery tells me this is the manufacturer of my Apple OEM battery on my MBP mid-2010.
Although close to it's end of life time (1125 cycles), battery status says: 'Fair' and I'd happily get another one of the same.

Did you not read my post above? Dynapack seems to be the manufacturer for Apple OEM batteries. These are supposed to be exactly what comes originally with your macbook. Not, just an OEM replacement. You can see in the screenshot the replacement I have from Powerbook Medic is made by Dynapack. I called Powerbook Medic and asked them the same thing. They assured me it was original. However, after dropping $200 on this battery it better be. Unfortunately, I can tell you there is no way it will last what the original did (which I still have and have compared visually). Especially given this was manufactured a year before I even bought it. I have not had it 590 days.

The design capacity was 8868 mAH when I installed it and after 157 cycles you can see it had dropped to less than 98% cap. It took my original battery 199 cycles to drop to 93% and after 578 cycles it dropped to 6614 mAh (78%). Hope this helps. I tried OWC batteries twice and they wouldn't event fit correctly.

[doublepost=1519059187][/doublepost]1125 cycles you have gotten well more than your money's worth.

I thought I'd hit the jackpot with a Siker replacement battery for my early 2011 Macbook Pro, almost a quarter the price of the Apple battery. The original (7-year-old) battery had expanded causing the trackpad to bulge. The Siker worked fine for a few months, although I noticed a few problems, such as the trackpad not working as designed. Finally my screen started going black intermittently. I tried every fix I could find on the web but nothing helped. I decided to remove the battery completely. Bingo! No further problems. I'm off to buy a genuine Apple battery - before the next power outage hopefully. My non-OEM Magsafe 85w power adapter charger (by Nuoo - also one-quarter the OEM cost) appears to be working as well as the original Apple product, though.

I know it’s an old thread, info around is scant.
I only replaced a battery once, of a MBA. I got a Newertech battery from macfixit. Most reviews were positive but reading them they just reflect fast deliveryor easy installation. Not quality. What I found out was that while the original battery lasted 4 years, the Newertech battery was only good for about 14 months. After 20 months it barely holds a charge. It’s rubbish.
