I wasn't even trying to prove that.
No, but you're assuming it, and you have no evidence to show that they are in any way comparable other than the rated capacity of the battery. I will grant you that the nano is far more similar to your phone than the other HDD based iPods, even though it spends a lot more time driving headphones and doesn't have a radio.

You are also making great assumptions on relative quality of the parts which is why I brought up the hypothetical.

I think that too big a deal is being made out of this. So what, sony ericsson is one company and their are plenty of other companies out their that sell their batteries exclusivly for high prices like apple. WHo cares what sony ericsson does. Apple does what they do and theats it, either buy a 3rd party bettery or deal with it!

Actualy I pointed out the size, voltage as well as that their both lithium-polymer. Other then that what other characteristics can a battery have? To me these two are identical.

How does it spend more time driving headphones?

No I'm not. I was speaking about the SE battery which according to my experience is high quality.
Anyway, I'm not trying to annoy anyone (I can see some people are getting annoyed by this thread) just trying to put some sense. Off course I may be wrong and I'd be happy if someone gives me a logical answer to my question.
I'm sorry if I'm wasting anyone's time so please ignore this thread if it gets on your nerve. But don't tell me:

It doesn't help at all.

Labi, are you actually looking for a battery or are you just complaining about how much they cost. This thread is going no where, it is what it is and its not gonna change anytime soon,.
