Replacement HDD and RAM for white MB?

My MB has a 120GB HDD, and 2GB RAM. I'd like to upgrade the HDD to more like 500GB and the RAM to 4GB.

What do you guys recommend as far as HD's go? What kind of RAM do I need?

Btw, if you have white pre-unibody MacBook, it only accepts HDDs up to 9.5mm height, so 750GB is currently the maximum HDD you can use with that model. The Aluminium and white Unibody models accept up to 1TB.

I have the model that came out just before the white unibody. I believe it has the hard drive access in the battery compartment.
