Today my iPhone 5 speaker started acting up. It sounds like it is blown but I'm not sure how that could have happened.

My question is tomorrow if I get a replacement will it have AWS support for T-Mobile? I currently have an ATT A1428 model but no AWS support.

Update:
They tried to fix the speaker but couldn't and so they gave me a replacement phone. It does support AWS tmobile bands.

let the apple genius know you need a t-mo compatible one and see what they say. they may exchange it for you.

No, they're different service parts. Just like you can't take an AT&T one and get a Verizon one back, you can't change to T-Mobile.

I recently swapped out 2 older model phones and received the newer model in return. Just to let you know!

No, that's incorrect. All unlocked, ATT, T-Mobile iP5s share the exact same parts, and all are A1428. Even Apple told FCC that there's 0 hardware change, but a firmware one.

All gsm replacements which includes AT&T models that are produced today support all Tmobile bands. I'm not sure about verizon and sprint.
