Replacement TrackPad

Where is the best place to purchase a replacement trackpad for a MacBook Air, other than from Apple directly?

I'm not sure where you are located but Canadian authorised Apple dealers are not allowed to sell parts without installing them for the customer.

You could look in your located used computer store, eBay, and local online classifieds.

I would look at local Apple repair shops or eBay.

eBay would be your best bet yes. Apple and their authorised dealers aren't allowed to sell parts to users and actually can't even order them in themselves until they've logged the fault with Apple.
