iPad Replacing 6th generation Ipad

I want to replace my 6th generation ipad and have the opportunity of either buying another one at £150 or upgrading to the A16, for £300. The £300 sounds too cheap to me but it is from a reputable source. Any reason not to spend the extra?

The A18 iPad will cost the same as the A16 iPad.
