How can I find out which battery I need for my mid 2012 MacBook Pro 15"
2.3GHz
Corei7
Seriel C02J52G4F1G3

And any reputable places to buy from in the UK?

I'd like to buy a replacement for the original, which is losing power. It's showing a cycle count of 1995, although it's displaying its condition as 'Normal'

Not sure if I need an A1382 or A1286 etc.....?

Check out macsales to see which battery you will need and to watch the instructional video. Since you’re in the UK, I can’t tell you where to buy it from, but that should point you in the right direction in terms of model and workload.

Can the genuine Apple batteries be purchased from third party sellers?

My Megsafe cable broke today with the magnetic piece that connects to the MacBook falling off, so an expensive month.
