At school I am setting up the G3 Server's Macintosh Manager, and the Launcher is used on on every computer. Using Macintosh Manager on OS 7.6.1 - 8.6 the computer looks at the local "Launcher Items" folder to display the links in the launcher. But in OS 9 each user has their own "Launcher Items" folder in their main folder, meaning that the launcher will display what is in their local folder and not what's in the computers launcher items folder. This is a problem, since every computer has different apps installed on it.

What can be done is to replace the Launcher items folder with an alias to direct to the Launcher Items folder located on the local hard disk.

The problem is to replace every folder named "Launcher Items" with the alias. There are over 1000 users, so it would take a long time replacing everyone's folder.
So does anyone know how to either copy the alias into every folder at once, or to search and replace the folder?

There is a Diagram below to demonstrate what I mean.

Thanks
