Replacing Hard Disk from an identical macbook

The screen of my mid 2010 (Model A1342) Macbook is displaying many vertical lines and is beyond repair. I bought a similar (Model A1342) used Macbook in which the screen is working fine but the hard disk is not. I want to replace this hard disk and 4GB ram with 16GB ram from my Macbook which has display problem. I would like to know that after I replace the hard disk and ram whether the macbook will work just fine as my previous computer or do I have to perform some additional tasks. Also I must mention that I am using Windows 10 in Boot camp and I would like to know whether this will work fine or if I need to do some additional configurations.

Yes, SSD drives are much more affordable now and will make a HUGE increase in speed!
