I have a 2007 17" MacBook Pro Core 2 duo 2.4ghz. I intend on replacing my dead logic board and am looking for a match.
I have found some logic boards that match all of my specs except none of their specs mention anything regarding the computers screen resolution. There were choices on the screen resolution and my computer is the high resolution model. Do I need to match that up or is this not a problem? Thanks for your help.

Irrelevant. The graphics card interfaces with the screen, not the logic board.

If you're unsure about things like this, I'm wondering if you should be trying to do major mac surgery yourself.

Thanks for your response. I understand and am considering various repair options. Although I've replaced many parts on several Macs through the years, I've never replaced logic board. Thanks again.
