Replacing MacBook display

Hi!

I have an old MacBook with a broken logic board, bought in april '07, so it's late '06 model. I found a MacBook with a broken display today online, but it's late '08 model, so I was wondering if the display from my MacBook would fit and work with that? Both are originally 13.3" glossy widescreen LCD, 1280 x 800 pixel resolution, but do they have exactly the same cabling etc?

The easiest thing to do is swap the LCD from your old macbook to the newer macbook. The LCD are interchangeable.
