Replacing Music/Video with Media player

Is the best way of doing this still changing the two values in Info.plist and then adding the media player to the N45AP.plist?

I did this and got the app but was unable to move it around in my dock. Just seems to want to be the last app of the list. It might have something to do with I only had Video and Music show up in Customize. Nothing about iPod or Media player.

So is there a better way of doing this yet or is this still it?

And I saw that. Didn't answer my question. I said I manually edited my N45AP but it still won't move so the suggestion in that thread doesn't work for me.

If you follow the link in that thread, and place the Info.plist given, the iPod.app will show up in Customize and you can move it around just like any other app.

Yeah, once the Info.plist is copied over, use Customize to hide both your Music and Video icons, then youre all set.

No problem, I struggled for about 3 hours yesterday trying to do it, and nobody else should have to.
