Replacing phone---and do I need to talk to genius?

If i replace my current iphone does that mean that they will extend my contract?
My phone cannot seem to be able to make calls---i can dial and receive a number but i cannot hear the voice.

Set up an appointment with a genius, bring in your iPhone, they will hand you a new one. Done. I've done it 4 times and they have not extended my contract.

Not sure about that, but regarding having it replaced at the Genius bar, it will be no problem.
