I got some new RAM for christmas for my mid 2010 15" model, and I am going to replace the memory... but I have one problem. I removed all 10 screws in the back, and I tried to remove the back panel starting from the vent/hinge area as ifixit.com has shown but mine will not come off. It will raise about a quarter an inch up and then stop. I'm top pulling too hard but I'm afraid that will break some kind of hinge system that is one there. I tried pulling up and then out but that did not help.

Can some one tell me if I am supposed to pull up with a good amount of force, or am I supposed to pull up a slight bit and then pull out?

Any help would be great.
