Does anyone know where the restart sound is located? It's the sound you hear every time you restart springboard or complete reboot, the robotic high pitched whirl noise. I checked in /System/Library/Audio/UISounds and couldn't find it in there. Thanks.

Restart sound...never heard of such a thing.

My IP4 doesn't do it thats for sure.

I've had an iPhone 3G and 4, but I have never heard any sound when respringing or rebooting.

yeah funny thing i thought mine made a sound the first time i read this thread then now that i tested respring from SBSettings and winterboard mine doesnt make a sound either

The "beep-beep" sound is the initial charging sound when you plug the lead in, so this would make sense if you respring/boot whilst charging maybe?!

It's the charging sound, not the restart sound, sorry. Ive only restarted my phone plugged in and just wasn't paying attention (all 1 week I've had it).
