Replacing SMS Tones

I'm new, so I'd like to say hello to all! I'm new to SSH as well and I'm trying to replace some of the stock SMS tones by following this guide: http://www.projectamplify.com/iphone-sms-tones-via-ssh.html. However, I can't seem to get it quite right. I'm following it to a "t" but all I've succeeded in doing is erasing the Electronic SMS tone entirely. Is there something incorrect in this guide? Also, do I need to change the name of the file that I am trying to replace the tone with to align with the file that I am replacing (example: do I need to change mynewringtone.caf to sms-received6.caf)? Thanks all!
