Had an unfortunate accident with my iPhone 11 Pro which will require an out-of-warranty replacement (don’t have AC+ or anything like that)

Question is - I originally bought the phone in the U.S. and live in Berlin. Will I be able to pay for a replacement here in Germany/Europe?

Obviously will be quite hard to negotiate getting it replaced in the U.S. right now ?

As far as warranties, I believe the iPhone is the only Apple product that is country specific. That being said, if you take your US phone for an out of warranty repair, it should not be a problem. I’ve done it with other US purchased products (not in Germany, but another EU member country).

I've had a replacement in the US Apple Store and mine was a EU iPhone. It's best to book an appointment in the Genius Bar to see if they have a replacement in stock. If they don't then it will take a few days to order it.

I’ve never had a problem with replacements or warranty service on my iPhones in different countries. Over the years I had two iPhones I bought in Japan replaced in Switzerland (one out of warranty and the other with AppleCare) and one iPhone bought in the US serviced in Japan (with AppleCare).
