Replacing water damaged iPhone 4?

I found a great deal on an iPhone 4, too good to pass up. It'll turn on but it has very obvious water damage. Would Apple replace it for $199 even if it was purchased on Craigslist?

Yes, as long as you pay the $200 they will replace it with no probs.
