The issue is that pretty much from the get-go, literally from day one, Siri began being passed around apple, like an unwanted hot potato.I wonder what happened within Apple after Siri debuted. At the time, it was one of the first fairly useful (if limited) personal assistants. I suspect when Jobs said he had "cracked" the AppleTV interface, he was talking about Siri. But things somehow got derailed and Siri never lived up to its promise. Now it's so far behind the curve, I'm not sure how they'll catch up. But I'm willing to be surprised.
I will neither upgrade nor update my iPhone 14 Pro Max and Apple ecosystem until “Apple Intelligence” is fully released and liquid glass looks more legible.
Apple already ****ing delayed itIf news was that Apple was delaying this feature, there would be 20 comments but because it’s in testing phase the trolls have no content
They are ten years behind Google on that. Only way is if AAPL acquires Anthropic and maybe Perplexity to get all of the expertise needed.I have been very critical of Apple and the horrible state of Siri. That said, I want them to be successful and get it right and at least pull even with Android.
I had zero expectations of the Apple Intelligence and yet I’m still disappointed.Remember an old saying "lower your expectations to zero and you are never disappointed" applies sadly to most Apple non-hardware announcements recently.
"Testing phase" means nothing. They've been "testing" long before AppleI was announced. This looks like a rather lame attempt on building hype for non-existant product. If news was that Apple was delaying this feature, there would be 20 comments but because it’s in testing phase the trolls have no content
