How can you fairly judge Siri if you haven't been using it? Siri has been fantastic at what she was designed to do. An LLM-powered Siri she is not... yet. That's coming and it's going to rock the world.

Maybe in the early 2010‘s but not for many years. Siri could repeatedly not do simple tasks and even now with its ChatGPT integration it lacks some basic functionality.
My biggest issue must be that I can ask it about ANY detail about ANY thing and it will answer me mostly correctly.
However, 7/10 questions asked about Apple products, even if it’s about the device in use right now, it simply refers to some Apple websites that sometimes don’t even have the info I’m looking for.
It also can’t understand things like „remind me when I return to this location“, even if that location is my own home.
It’s better than most people make it out to be, but still bad.
You don’t. That’s great. Means you’re around circles of people that don’t entertain low quality sources or AI hallucinations.
That’s unfortunately not the case for everyone.
