I hope they succeed! I don’t dislike TSMC but they are too dominant and with the constant threat of an invasion from China the west need more production knowledge and capacity.

Something tells me if China invades Taiwan, it will also stop exports to any country supporting Taiwan.

Yes, TSMC not delivering chips would be one thing, but what about all the resistors, capacitors and diodes. Most likely those are all sourced in China. Also rare earth and rare earth magnets, as well as frames and batteries.
