Report phishing in mail app?

Is there a way to report phishing in the iOS Mail app? I only see an option to move to junk but nothing to report the message as a phishing message to Gmail.

No but when you manually move an email into your Spam folder, Google receives a copy of the email and any attachments. Then Google may analyze those emails.

Not in the iOS app it doesn’t (AFAIK). Maybe in the Gmail app?

The mail app is just an email client, not an email provider the way Gmail is. That’s why there isn’t a way to report phishing.

It's not clear if doing this in a non-Google email client works the same way.

The Outlook app from Microsoft, however, does support reporting a phishing email.
