So what if there is no difference when you have a 4s, 5 and 3x iPads on the same wifi network. Is mine defective because it doesn't have wifi problems?

So glad i decided to wait on upgrading to both iphone 5 and ios6... Terrible issues with both that will take months to fix.

All these new product release problems are standard now... Sort it out Apple!

Good here. AT&T. In fact, it feels really snappy. So much so that I've been using up more data than I need to so I had to turn off cellular data so I don't go over.

You know what this is going to be a hardware issue. I have iOS6 installed on both my ipad and phone. My ipad is faster and it shows full bars where my phone is one bar down and is slower. they are both right next to each other. Oh no.....

Not talking about LTE. We are talking about the Wifi.

They seem to have a lot of trouble with wifi. Used to be a problem on the iPad, and after waking a computer up with lion installed it would take a while to connect.

There have been wifi issues before with 3GS too. IMac wifi connection issues too. All fixed with software. Antenna gate not fixable with software. They pretended they could, though to buy time.

The wifi stuff is probably just an aspect of different type connections and routers.

Are any of these problems with AirPort Extreme?

Thats funny because i was at the bestbuy today and they had the Iphone 5 and the iphone 4s right next to eachother and i was trying to go onto apple.com and the iphone 5 took like 20 seconds to load and then i looked at the iphone 4s and it was like 2 seconds.....

Is this a software or hardware problem?

LTE speeds as well?

My LTE speeds are horrible as well:
2.70
2.74
2.94
2.75
2.74
Wi-Fi
3.13
2.96

Randomly I get good upload speeds of 10-16mb but never do I get anything above a 4mb for downloads speeds

Just check my old iPhone 4 15.96 down and 7.32 Up...
Damn 1st Gen iDevices...

WPA2 2.4GHz and no issues here...wifi on iPad3 is slightly faster than iPhone5 but I wouldn't consider it an issue. (roommate is surfing too...may be faster)

HARDWARE FOR SURE!

Guess I'm going to make a trip to the Apple Store. I also have a build issue on mine too. The right bottom corner is lifted but I didn't want to make a big deal out of it since I was going to put a case on it but there is 2 problems on my phone. Not holding my tongue on this.

Apple will claim that this is a software. Because if they claim this as a hardware that's gonna be a recall. Wait a minute they didn't recall the iPhone 4.

I noticed that when I first tried the SpeedTest.net app with my iPhone 5 that the original server that I used was really glitchy and showed really low Mbps. I normally get like 32Mbps down and 6Mbps up. And it would show between 15Mbps-0Mbps. Then i switched my server and got the normal 32Mbps. So try switching your server for SpeedTest because that worked for me.

Connection issues like these are usually quickly fixed with a patch. It will probably take years to fix something like the atrocious Apple Maps app.
