repurpose 4th generation airport extreme

    I got a new Netgear R6300 v2 to replace 4th generation airport extreme. I'm wondering if it's possible to utilize my old 4th generation airport as repeater for the new Netgear router..

    also looking for suggestions for old 20 inch core 2 duo IMAC..... My son just got a new gaming PC now trying to think of good use for old Imac

    You can set it up in bridge mode and that will work. I have an old TC doing that very task.
