    Hello everyone,
I'm looking to upgrade couple of pieces on my MBP. I want to increase the RAM and change the fan. What are some reliable websites to get these pieces from?
    Thanks.

Personally I avoid OWC. Newegg and Amazon have better prices and you can find "Mac specific" RAM if that makes you more comfortable.

You'll need a small screw driver, 00 Phillips I believe. And you need a TORX driver. iFixit has info on what you'll need for your model.

Agreed. OWC is a total rip. Here is the same spec RAM on Amazon for $20 less.

Thanks T5BRICK and Weaselboy for your input and your help.
For the fan, there's only the one I list. I mean, there isn't ones that have different strengths or whatever.

The fans ifixit sells are the models needed for your laptop. They don't sell aftermarket ones.
