Requires Password to use Airport on MBP

Why do I need a password every time I log on, or log off using Airport?
Never did this before on my MBP.
How do I get it to stop asking for a password?

Have you been tinkering with the router settings recently?
Perhaps enabled it's wi-fi security options?

I have had problems with certain access points before. I have always been able to fix it by turning off my airport on the PC and then deleting the keychains for the access point you are having trouble with. Then turn back on your airport card and connecting to the access point.

Not sure if that's your problem but it has always worked for me.
