As I don't yet own a MacPro and am researching them, (against Dell workstations, TRUST ME I WANT THE MACS...) I'm putting together a business case as to why we should have them, instead of the run of the mill Dell workstations the IT dept says we should have.
I am trying to find out who makes, and how much cache the standard 320gb hard disk that comes with the MacPro has.

If anyone can answer this I'd appreciate it.

Thanks!

Cool. I am wanting to throw some 32mb cache drives in anyways, but I was just wondering...More for myself than the presentation.

The poster above you has just told you that cache size is irrelevant.

He's right. It really doesn't matter. What matters is the make of the hard drive. Just look up fast hard drives, and buy accordingly.
