Reservations in Apple Store

I reserved an iPhone 4 today, and im wondernig if anyone has any past experience with reservations. Were you GUARANTEED an iPhone on the day of release?
I am worried because, it seems very simple to reserve and iPhone with many duplicate accounts easily made.

There's a line for reservations and a line for walk-ins. They take the reserve line first and switch between reserve and walk-ins. Usually it's 2:1 in my experience.
