You guys do see how it says reserve your iPhone AFTER 9 PM TONIGHT, don't you? My guess is the 'not available to reserve status' won't change until then.

Yea you have to log back in after 9PM.

The stores in my area only have 64GB left...

Except Sprint has some 16GB and nothing for ATT

I guess I have to wait 1-2 weeks

Those that did pick up reservation which stre did you pick it up from?

Did apple have any more in stock to sell to those that did not reserve

And as expected, went to reserve an iPhone just after 9 pm local time and stock available for at least half of the models. Should now have a black 64 GB AT&T model waiting for me tomorrow. Curious to see if it comes unlocked as it will be off contract.

Try using a different browser. that worked for me.

There's stock at the wellington green store in florida.

can you reserve a off contract at&t iphone 4s? im really desperate at this point.

I forgot to answer someone's question before. When I preordered they had only 64gb AT&T white and black. No sprint. And every model of Verizon.

I checked back an hour later and it was sold out.

You don't have to specify how you're going to purchase (upgrade, add a line, off contract, etc), just makes a reservation for the specific model. I'm in the same boat, reserved a 64 GB Black AT&T model at two different local Apple Stores, just in case one of the stores gives me a hard time about purchasing off contract without activation in the store.

They reserve the phone you pick but when I picked mine up he asked if I was doing an upgrade etc. and on the machine you saw a link for off contract. So it shouldn't matter. So it'll be an off contract AT&T sprint or Verizon.

so can i just purchase without any at&t information?

That I'm not sure because he asked me for my id and my phone number. I'd call fIrst because some people are saying they were turned away and not allowed to pick up their reservation off contract.

ty for the help. i might actually pass on this and just wait til november. its not too far off and 850 is alot to risk in case anything ever comes up.

I honestly don't think the stock levels are that accurate...

It said it was all sold out but when I called in at the Apple Store, they said they still had a few left.. :S

i am wondering when you make a reservation for an iphone 4s. its said pick up at 8am - 6pm?
so you can go between that time and no need to wait in line?
or we still need to get in line to wait for the call?

I reserved last night at around 9:15PM...64 GB Verizon, black...i didn't give any info other than my apple id...pick up between 9AM and 8PM for my store (NJ).

I got there at 4PM...waited in a short line outside the store...they were backed up due to being closed for 3 hours (Steve Jobs memorial - nicely done, btw)...a personal rep came to each person in line and took them into the store to purchase the product they wanted...i did notice 3 or 4 people saying they had NO reservation for the iPhone, but the store was allowing them to buy what was in stock - they had NO sprint models, 32 and 64 Verizons in stock, and a few AT&T models...packed store, but good service all around...

i was in and out within 20 minutes...and i had them activate my phone for me...hope this helps...

Thanks. 30mins wait time not bad. at least not few hrs...
:D
