iPhone Reset iPhone 4S and Keep Jailbreak 6.1

Hi all,

Probably been covered in here, but I can't find a definitive answer. I have the new 5S and will be handing down my 4S iOS 6.1 to my son. I want to basically reset all to factory defaults, but retain the jailbreak.

I know that I cannot restore a 4S using the old method in iTunes as Apple will not sign it.

I know of iLex RAT too, but unsure if this is the right way or what options to use.

Please could you knowledgable people let me know 🙂

Not without updating to iOS7

I used iLex RAT to do a full clean (option 12) and retain the jailbreak. Simple and worked a treat!! 😀
