If you are having beta troubles you can reset network settings for a respring and not get stuck at activation lock if you don't have a registered udid. Maybe that should be patched.

Resetting network settings doesn't trigger an activation check, never has.

Is there any other way to respring the OS without triggering an activation check?

i meant it as to why do you ask, it seemed suspicious like you have a stolen device you want access to or something, i cant make it bypass my activation passcode, at least on 7.1.2
