Reset Network Settings --> stuck at 5% complete on the status bar for ~ 30 min.

When should I start to panic?

Context:
I was trying to fix the White Screen of Death problem when launching Phone or Messages.
(I can no longer use the phone or send messages on my iPhone 16 Pro Max since iOS 26 upgrade. It just launches to a white screen.)

Someone in the Apple Support forum said their local Apple support suggested that to them.

Settings > General > Transfer or Reset [Device] > Reset > Reset Network Settings

Multiple people said it fixed their White Screen problem too.

Hard Reset fixed the: Reset Network Settings --> stuck at 5% complete
I was terrified that my phone was bricked. SO relieved when I saw the main screen.

However, the original issue is still a huge problem since upgrading to iOS 26 on my iPhone 16 Pro Max.
Phone, Messages, Contacts opens to just a white screen. 😭
