Hello, I just recently got an iBook G3. I found it in my towns recycling center and brought it home. The user on it does not have admin privileges. Seeing how it's old and is running 10.2 I was just going to install some sort of Linux on it. I went to go boot into a CD and it came up with a grey screen with a password prompt? Any ideas? I don't have the password. Does the same thing if I try to boot into single user mode. Any help? Thanks.

Reset Password for BIOS

Alright, I'll try to just reset the admin password then. Or to generate a new one. I don't have the CD and the Terminal may be blocked. Thanks for the advice. I'll try it today and let you know if it worked.
