Hi, I have been given an Apple Sports Watch, previously owned by my cousin. When I turn it on it talks constantly, when I try and log in with the passcode it tells me the numbers and then says "button"? I have tried erasing all content and data, but when I press that on the screen, it speaks the command and then says "button" but doesn't do anything? Please excuse my stupidity as I have never had to deal with an Apple Watch before, but I have been working around Macs for 20 years. Any suggestions? It's driving me barmy! Thanks in advance!

Someone somehow has enabled voiceover feature on your watch. If you go to watch app, and find accessibility (under General), turn it off, then your problem should be solved.

Unfortunately I can't get to app as when I put the password in it says "Button" and doesn't do anything or am I missing on pressing something?

Are Your iPhone into that voiceover mode now? If so, that is tricky.
Ok, here is what you gonna do. Step by step, to disable voiceover on your watch.
1. Slide one finger up from the bottom edge until you feel the first vibration or after one second.
2. Swipe down from the very top of your screen with one second delay, until you see lock screen.
4. Swipe three fingers to scroll to widget page.
5. Double tap the top search field.
6. Tap “w” once and “w” twice to type “w” in search field. Keep doing the same thing for “a”, “t”, “c”, “h”.
7. Once you see the Watch app, tap it, and double tap it.
8. You should be able to see “General”, tap it, and double tap it.
9. At this point you should have some idea of how voiceover control works. Head over and go to Accessibility menu, find “Voiceover” and disable it from your watch.

Hi All, managed to figure it out and done a full factory reset. The issue was when it said "button" it wasn't giving me the full description. So, when I pressed erase, it was only saying button, what it should have said was double tap button. Once I did that it was plain-ish sailing! Thanks for all your help
