iPod touch resetting an email?

I would like to reset an email that has downloaded attachments(pictures). I want to keep the email but would like to reset the email message to before I downloaded the pictures. These are large 1MB pictures and would like to get rid of them(temporarily) but keep the text. Can anyone help?

You could just copy and paste the text and send it to yourself in an email, then delete the first one.
