Resetting SMC

My mac Pro (2006) at work and home both have the problem of turning itself on at 12am. I noticed other people on this forum had the same problem and restting the SMC is meant to be the answer. On one of the threads there is a link to the apple site detailing how to rest the SMC. I've tried all the other ways it mentions but the one I can't seem to do is the rest switch, I can't seem to find it anywhere. It says it's just below and to the right of the diagnostic LEDS, but perhaps I'm being blind I can't even find those. Can anyone point me in the right direction. Cheers
