I've had to delete Yalu and then simply use impactor to reinstall Yalu which is fast.

If there's a way to do this easier, I would love to know.
So you delete the Yalu app and use impactor to reinstall while some don't delete the Yalu app. It works either way? Plus can use the same Apple ID?

I think deleting Yalu is required. You reinstall it and have to sign it before running it.I don't see a way to simply resign it.

I have an iPhone and iPad using Yalu JB and when I reinstall Yalu on one, it says it revokes the previous certificate but theres no need to worry because the JB will still last on the other device.

What if I use different Apple ID for different Pc and keep using it to re-sign the same device. That would work best. I have 3 official Apple ID between me and my wife.

I downloaded the Cert Time app from Cydia and it says that my Yalu cert expired since 6 hours and 52 mins. This means I have to re-sign the yalu app again. However, since I have not rebooted my device and my phone is still jailbroken with Cydia and tweaks working, do I still have to re-sign the yalu app now or do it when I want to jailbreak again?

You'd only have to re-sign if you reboot or if your device reboots on its own. I picked a day when I always have access to my pc and I re-signed. Then I set a reminder to notify me every 7 days to re-sign. That way, I'm never at risk of losing my ability to stay jailbroken.

So you re-sign weekly even when you are still jailbroken. Obviously you will reboot your device first.

Yeah. So far so good. So far, I've only had one random reboot happen (10.1.1 on a 7+), and I don't want that to happen after the 7 day window expires and I don't have access to my PC for some reason.

I guess I will also pick a day to re-sign Yalu for all my devices. My devices have not had a reboot yet so I guess I will wait before re-signing again.

Ok so no need to delete the yalu app before resigning. But I read somewhere that there is a file with randon letters saved in the yalu re-signer (app for windows) which we need to delete before re-signing again. Is this true?

So how many times can we use the same Apple ID to re-sign? Can the same Apple Id be used to re-sign the yalu app for 4 different devices?

Can we re-sign the app a few hours before the certificate expires?

You can re-sign it whenever you want, you could do it after the certificate expires if you desire. If you let it expire, and avoid re-booting or letting your battery die (white will cause a fresh boot) you can wait until that time.

My recommendation, is to pick a date or time that is convenient for you. I chose Sunday, when I wake up Sunday morning, I do it. No fuss, or hassle, no trying to remember when, just set a normal time, and stick with it

Can you resign Yalu before the 7 day period is over? Just in case you know you won't be able to do it on the day it expires.
