resize images easyway & free

    I need an application for resizing images easily. I found easycrop but a demo version only. I need freeware.

    thanks for your help.

    PS: isn't there something like that in the mac os X already included? if not this is kinda ridiculous.

    there is an app called "seashore" check it out via google.

    I don't think OSX preinstalls this type of app. But Im on Tiger, so there might be difference in leopard that I don't know..

    there are 'automator' scripts available that can do this for you without the need to install any software...

    what OS are you using? If you have Leopard Preview can resize images very easily under the Tools menu.

    Yeah, Preview. Check out the Tools menu > Adjust Size...
    On Automator, read this document over at Apple.

    Hope this does it for you.

    If you don't have the option in Preview, then go download Seashore. It's freeware based on the GIMP, but a bit simpler and easier to use. You can do a lot of simple yet powerful image editing with it.

    iResize and imagewell are both pretty good for purely resizing images. IMO imagewell is better but for batch processing you need to pay.
