Knight of Ni 1 is my Time Machine partition and 2 is my active iTunes music, DVD burns, and active Aperture Library (all have their own backups...gotta use old iPods somehow).

I want to know if I can take some of the free space from Ni 2 and add it to Ni 1 for extra TM HD space.

I just went through this (sort of).

First thing, are you OK with losing all your TM backups so far?
If so it is easy.
You delete the time machine partition, then resize your iTunes (etc) one.
Then use the newly formed partition as your TM HDD.

Sorry if its confusing.
Its hard to explain.

I figured this was what I would need to do.
