Resizing Icons?

Anyway I just got my 20in iMac Core Duo CTO..my first mac😀 It is amazing.Anyhoo Ive been playin around with icons switching one in the dock, learning basics etc. I was just wondered how I would go about resizing icons because some are smaller than I would I like? I've seen it done somewhere in a monthly desktops post or sumfin.

Go to View in the menu bar, click show view options, and then drag the icon size slider to the size you want.

Go to Finder then go to View>>View Options and there is an option in there.
