I just deleted Windows Partition 30g on my Macbook.

If I resize the MAC one to fill that 30gig back up will I need to backup? I know I know you should always back up but does it intentionally remove data? Or is it straight forward?

Just asking before I do this in Utility.

So you're trying to repartition or resize your partition on your Mac?

If you need to cut data from your Mac, delete unused or unneeded applications.

Had windows installed, deleted that partition. Never used it.

But the 30g is sort of in a phantom state and isn't on the MAC partition (IE original partition/HD)

I want to add that 30g back to the MAC HD, there is an option in disc utility.

Will it wipe everything or is it a simple process?

Anyone ACTUALLY know?😎

Did you run Boot Camp Assistant to remove the partition? When you remove the Boot Camp partition, it should have automatically added the 30 GB back to the OS partition. I believe Disk Utility will format the whole drive.
