I'm having a tough time figuring this one out.
I used to have a second account on my MacBook Pro for a presentation I did for a class. I needed a separate account for an iMovie project and to keep the resolution TV-friendly because I was displaying my work on an SDTV.
Anyways, it appears the resolution that I changed it to kind of got stuck. Whenever I restart or log out, the login screen goes to 1024 x 768. I deleted the account already before I noticed it. Whenever I log in to my account, the resolution goes back to good ol' 1440 x 900. But any time I'm at the login screen, resolution drops back down.
I have deleted the com.apple.-whatever preference file for login and reset. No good.
I reset the SMC. No good.
I tried making another account, switching resolutions. No good.
I don't know what I'm doing wrong. HELP!
