I recently found myself trying to double click on a paragraph in Safari to zoom into it. The only problem was that I was using my G5 not my iPhone! I've actually started to enjoy browsing the internet on my iPhone as much if not more than my desktop. Landscape mode is amazing.

So, are we seeing Leopard's Resolution Independence in action when the iPhone zooms into sections on a browser page, and then smoothes everything out?

I remember reading somewhere that the next generation of Macbooks/Macbook Pros were suppose to have "enhanced" trackpads for iPhone-like functionality, such as pinch zoom. Just a very tiny, off beat rumor, but who knows? Could go with Leopard's Res Independence.

For a few days after I got the iPhone, I kept scrolling on the trackpad the opposite way. :) I'd try to push my fingers down to go upwards and vice-versa thanks to the iPhone.
