Greetings!

GEZZZ. I talked to a product specialist for 6 weeks after installing 10.7.4 and finally got it running good. My only issue is that I only have two screen resolution choices. I also brought it into an Apple store and they told me that the age of my computer (2006) prevented all my screen resolutions to remain. I was told to wait for an update but I waited and waited and now Mtn.Lion came out and it says it will not work on this computer. Then I read before Mtn. Lion came out there was 10.7.5 beta and it brought back all the missing resolution options. However from my research it was only for developers. I dont want to go back to 10.7.3 to get my resolution choices back but will if I have to. Is there anything I can do or anyway to get 10.7.5? THANKS Neil

You can spend $99 to join the Apple Developer Program, or just wait a few weeks until 10.7.5 is released.
What computer do you have and what resolutions are missing? Have you tried SwitchResX to see if it reenables whatever resolution you're missing? http://www.madrau.com/indexSRX4.html

Thanks for the great Info!!!

Hi
Thanks so much for your quick and informative reply! I appreciate because I felt in the dark. With the release of Mtn Lion I thought they would not release 10.7.5. Great to know they are. I will go to the link you gave me and check it out. The only resolutions I have are 1920x1200 and 960x600. I am so grateful for your response as I thought I was dead in the water. Neil:)
