I would like to get mountain lion on my 2006 macbook. Is there anyway to "hack it" to allow me to use it. It meets the requirements, but can't run it. I would love to have ml but only have my macbook. Thanks

No, it doesn't meet the requirements. OS X Mountain Lion Technical Specifications

There's more to the requirements than RAM and drive space. Your MacBook does not support ML. It will not run Mountain Lion.

true, but most of the problems have a solution. And hey why not. In all reality its either upgrade or recycle. At least from apples standpoint.

Knock yourself out. I don't recommend things that I know are going to be problematic or unsuccessful, but if you want to try, go for it.
