I have this computer which I will be lending to my friend for a year or two that I think came with leopard. I have snow leopard here and I want to install it before passing it over to her. what is the easiest solution to giving her the computer in factory settings with snow leopard on it?

1. Copy your data off the hard drive.
2. Boot from the Snow Leopard DVD
3. Erase&Install (Somewhere in DiskUtility, sry, haven't installed SL myself, yet)
4. When the Mac reboots, hold the option-key to reach the boot selector.
5. Eject the DVD.
6. Turn off the Mac.

Now she will be prompted with a welcome-screen when she boots the Mac for the first time.
