iPod "Restore" Button Missing

Right we have an ipod formatted to a pc and we need to reformat for mac but the "restore" button is not there.

Any suggestions.

Strange... What sort of iPod is it and what version of iTunes are you running? Also, what sort of Mac are you using?

Do you have it mounted with a file on it open?

I feel so silly. I put an edit up here after posting but shock horror I discover it didn't get saved. Doh!

I'm not used to this ipod stuff yet. It turns out the "restore" button was there but the window was too small to see it. I didn't realise that this particular mac software operated like this, I would have thought that the button would move as the window is resized.
