Ok So like most people that have done this I used candybar to change my icons uninstalled it or didnt backup and I wanted my icons back to normal I Did the Control-I Delete thing, but it wont work for the MAC HD ICON, THE FINDER ICON , OR THE ICHAT ICON(i have no idea for the ichat), anyways does anyone know of a way or can give me something???😕

If you use CandyBar again, I believe it has an option to put the default icons back in place. That may be the easiest method, if you have a lot of icons that need changing.

Otherwise, you said you tried to do the "delete" thing... have you tried the "cut" thing?

1. Click on the file that you want to change (hard drive icon, for example).
2. Right-click (two-finger click) on it and choose "Get Info".
3. In the upper-left corner of the window that appears, click on the icon. It should now be highlighted in blue.
4. Go to the Edit menu in the menu bar, and choose "Cut".

Do this for each icon you want to change back to the

What are you talking about I've already done that and candybar will say what I has is the default so neither of your methods work. 🙄
