I've tweaked and changed settings in Finder and want to restore them to default again.

For example, I've changed icon sizes and font sizes and spacing etc, in a bunch of Finder views. Is there a quick way to return everything to its default configuration?

Hi,

you can do this by deleting the preferences files.

In Finder : click on the "Go" menu, press the Alt key to reveal the Library.

Select Library, go to the Preferences folder.

Delete all the files that have "com.apple.finder.plist" in their name.

Restart the Mac.

The Finder will revert to the default settings.

Finder / Cmd + j

Press the Alt key, and click the "Restore to defaults" in the bottom of the window.
