Restore from backup after redsnow?

I have a JB 3g on 2.2.1 and would like to go to JB 3.0.

I have seen the instructions here on how to use redsnow to get to JB 3.0

My question is after I follow the steps to get to 3.0 JB, how do I get all my apps/contacts/bookmarks, etc on the phone? Do I restore from backup?

I did;

1. Backup in iTunes (right click on iPhone)
2. Restore to 3.0
3. Restored my backup to get all my apps and information back.
4. Used redsnow to jb.

All's working fine.

That's good to know it is easy. Did you also use apt-backup for the Cydia apps?

After, just plug it into iTunes and follow the prompts.
